Ergonomic Evaluations

This is a free service available to our policyholders. Individual evaluations are not available for every employee, nor are they available to every location.

Our goal is to educate your supervisors/managers in how to conduct basic ergonomic assessments of workstations at your own company locations. We can assist you in training the person(s) responsible for spot-checking workstations or installing equipment. In all cases, we want a management or supervisory staff person to accompany our Ergonomics Specialist during any individual evaluations. These evaluations will serve as part of the training that will provide you with the in-house ability to conduct similar basic assessments.

It is our policy that we do not provide ergonomic training seminars for employees of clients. The amount of information is too great, and employees do not retain enough to make group training efficient. We recommend use of our ergonomics handouts or downloading posters and/or publications from reliable resources, such as those in our "safety website links" section of the BHHC website.

To provide ergonomics service for you, we need the following information:

Name of contact scheduling appointment:
(a maximum number of 6-8 employees may receive evaluations on one visit)
Have any of the above employees reported Workers Comp claims in relation to ergonomic issues?
Do you provide ergonomic equipment for employees?
Do you have a budget for ergonomics?(It is advisable to plan to budget from $200 - $400 per employee for possible equipment upgrades.)
